Guangzhou General Corporation for Science & Technology Development subordinating to Science and Information Technology of Guangzhou was established in 1985. It is jointly working with Guangzhou Science & Technology Exchange Institute, Guangzhou Municipal Center for Foreign Science & Technology Exchange, and Guangzhou Municipal Center for Continuing Engineering Education.
